What is the difference between single and double sided?

The main difference between a single-sided flag and a double-sided flag lies in how the design is visible on each side:

  1. Single-sided flag: A single-sided flag is printed on one side only. The design and colors are vibrant and clear on the front side, while the back side typically shows a mirrored or less prominent version of the design. This is because the ink permeates through the fabric, resulting in some level of visibility from the back side. Single-sided flags are lighter and may allow more light to pass through, making them suitable for situations where visibility from one side is sufficient. Typically you can see your image on the back with about 70-80% clarity in a reverse format.
  2. Double-sided flag: A double-sided flag is printed on both sides with the same design or a different design on each side.  It consists of two flag layers sewn together with a block-out liner in between, which prevents the design from showing through. As a result, the design is fully visible and readable on both sides, without any mirroring or transparency. Double-sided flags are a bit heavier and offer maximum visibility and legibility from any direction, making them ideal for situations where visibility from multiple angles is important.

When choosing between single and double-sided flags, consider your specific needs and display requirements to determine which option suits you best.
